The Gaza Pullout
Israel has started to evict Jewish settlements from the Gaza Strip yesterday. Out of curiosity about all this Arab-Jew hostilities, I found this:

Which can be summarised as: the Israelis are really, really fierce fighters. A small country right smack in the middle of the Arab world much hostile to its existence, Israel took the pre-emptive (bad word, in light of the US' foray into Iraq, which yielded ZERO weapons of mass destruction) approach and took the war to its Arab neighbours. The Jordanians, the Egyptians and Syrians fell along the way and even a passing US warship got waylaid (the Israelis claimed mistaken identity).
Little wonder Singapore's fledgling army took lessons from the Israelis then. Fierce.
